• Who should take this Executive Training?

  This course is designed for C-suite executives, senior leaders and other members of top management who have organization-wide responsibility for sponsoring ISO 9001, providing resources, setting direction and reviewing QMS performance.

  Directors and board members who only need a broad understanding without operational QMS responsibility are better suited to our Foundation Training.

• What will I learn?

  You'll learn how to evaluate the business case for ISO 9001, understand top management's leadership responsibilities, sponsor and govern implementation, keep the QMS integrated with normal business processes, and use quality objectives and performance information to drive improvement.

• What is the time commitment?

  The Executive Training is designed to be completed in less than 4 hours. It's fully self-paced and on-demand.

• Is there an exam?

  The course includes a short final multiple-choice assessment to confirm understanding of the material. It can be retaken as often as needed at no extra charge and is designed as a straightforward wrap-up to the training, not a high-stakes certification exam.

• How long is access?

  If the learner is enrolled during purchase, access starts immediately after payment. Any unassigned seats can be assigned to learners within 12 months of the purchase date. Once enrolled, each learner has up to 3 months of course access. Access ends when the course is completed. Extensions are available upon request for an additional fee.

• What's the difference between Executive and Manager Training?

  Executive Training is for top management with organization-wide responsibility for direction, sponsorship, resources and QMS performance.

  Manager Training is for department managers and team leaders who manage processes, people, risks and day-to-day QMS responsibilities within their areas.

• What's the difference between Executive and Foundation Training?

  Executive Training is for senior leaders who actively sponsor and oversee the QMS.

  Foundation Training is for people who want to understand ISO 9001 in more depth but do not have operational responsibility for leading, managing, implementing or auditing the system. This can include directors or board members who need the big picture without running the QMS.

• Does ISO 9001 require top management training?

  No specific training course is prescribed by ISO 9001. The standard does, however, assign direct leadership responsibilities to top management. This course explains those responsibilities and provides a Certificate of Completion as a training record.

• Can my company enroll our leadership team?

  Yes. You can purchase multiple seats and manage everything from our dashboard. The process is simple:

  1. Select the number of learners and click "Enroll".

  2. Designate a course manager and complete your purchase.

  3. Any seats not assigned during purchase can be assigned to learners within 12 months of the purchase date.

  4. Once enrolled, your course manager can track everyone's progress through the dashboard.
