• Who is this standalone exam for?

  This exam is for graduates of our ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Training who want to add formal assessed certification without repeating the course.

  If you have not completed our training, choose the Auditor Certification Training package instead.

• What is on the exam?

  The Auditor Exam assesses the knowledge covered by Exemplar Global TPECS Competency Units QM and AU. It contains 110 multiple-choice questions based on the material in our ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Training.

• What is the format and passing score?

  The exam contains 110 multiple-choice questions, is open book and is not time-constrained. Most participants finish in about 1 hour. A score of 70% or higher is required.

• What happens if I don't pass?

  Unlimited free retakes are included. If you don't pass, review the areas that need more work and retake the exam when ready at no additional cost.

• What will I receive when I pass?

  You receive a Certificate of Attainment and digital badge, both showing the title Certified ISO 9001:2015 Auditor. The certificate records TPECS Competency Units QM and AU and is valid for 3 years.

• Does the exam provide documented proof of competence?

  Yes. Passing provides examination-based proof that you demonstrated the QM and AU Auditor competencies assessed by the TPECS exam.

• Does this meet the knowledge requirements for Exemplar Global QMS Auditor certification?

  Yes. The QM and AU Certificate of Attainment meets the knowledge requirements for registration as an Exemplar Global Certified QMS Auditor. Exemplar Global handles the separate personnel-certification application.

• How long do I have access to take the exam?

  If the learner is enrolled during purchase, exam access starts immediately after payment. Any unassigned seats can be assigned to learners within 12 months of the purchase date. Once enrolled, each learner has up to 3 months of exam access. Access ends when the exam is successfully completed. Extensions are available upon request for an additional fee.

• How long is my credential valid, and how do I renew it?

  The Certified ISO 9001:2015 Auditor credential issued by 9001Simplified is valid for 3 years. Under our current renewal process, you can renew through the online Re-Certification Exam without repeating the full training.
